Recent Ethiopian Events
A very special visitWe are extremely proud and honoured by the visit of his holiness Abuna Paulos Patriarch (3 November 1935 – 16 august 2012) of Ethiopia, Archbishop of Axum and Echege of the see of Tekle hamanot, Ethiopian orthodox Tewahedo church, and president of the world council of churches to the Salu self-training centre in Addis Ababa.
Sadly his Holiness Abune Paulos died in Addis Ababa on 16 August 2012.[8] The foreign ministry reported that he had been "receiving treatment over the past week for an undisclosed illness."
