Our School Friendship and Awareness Program

‘Bringing education and Ethiopia & Africa alive for students’.Would you like us to bring Ethiopia to your School! Our outreach program can be presented in a classroom setting or as an assembly. As with our on-site programs, students are able to participate in hands-on activities.

All programs are available to all grade levels and include age appropriate activities and content. You can choose from a wide variety of content and we are prepared to work closely with you to accomplish your learning goals.

Through these active and dynamic lessons, students will learn about places and experiences that may seem very different from their familiar social surroundings, but will find out that they actually have more in common with the people who live in these places than they might have ever thought. By the end of the course, they will have a more complex understanding of this region and its issues, and also an appreciation of their own school community.

Please review a recent IEFA Outreach Visit to a school in Wexford.

Our Purpose: To make a presentation to the pupils about our work in Ethiopia. The visit to the school was to also show the spirit of the Ethiopian people, their crafts and resilience. The presentation was made Mulugeta Asrate Kassa, Councillor attached to the Ethiopian Embassy in Ireland.
