The Gaelic Pub theme is based on the forefathers race of Ireland, the Celts and celebrates their rich and artistic heritage. The Celts were a proud and honourable people. They lived in small farming communities. They loved music, the art storytelling and they loved to boast. The "Celts" as we traditionally regard them now exist largely in the magnificence of their brilliant art. They lived a primitive existence by hunting in the forests and streams and lakes. Alcohol played an important role in both feasting (especially after battle) and religious ritual. Roman records note the popularity of Corma, a type of wheat beer prepared with honey that was consumed by the lower classes.

The Celts were a deeply religious people and highly artistic. Their clothes were rich in colour and decoration mirroring their strong personality as people. Their pride instilled deeply in their craftsmanship and their daily working lives. Among their great artistic skills included woodwork, metal work, ceramic work, art, poetry, music, and the love of dance.

The Gaelic Pub embraces all these characteristics of the Celts, their devotion to community, love of colour, and art. The theme is brought alive by a combination of craftsmanship, tapestries, murals, wooden works, literal references. It is a sparse, spatial arrangement but inmate and enriching.
